Ministries



God has blessed First Baptist Church with the stewardship of overseeing many ministries, not only in and around Clinton, Louisiana and Baton Rouge, but also the world. Below is a list of these ministries, and in the future, we hope to create links to pages for each one of these special works.

Missionaries: Currently our church is supporting a church plant in Perth, Australia by Allen Beardmore and continuing a long time support of Raymond Perron in Quebec, Canada. We also support Ted, who serves in a hard place in the East.

KPAE/WPAE: Sermons from First Baptist Church are aired every Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

Cable TV: Sermons from First Baptist are shown each Sunday on Channel 56.

Grace Nursing Home: Ministering the word of God to the elderly on Sunday mornings at 8:30.

All the Way House: Ministering the word of God at a Saturday morning Bible study.

Harvest Ministries: An outreach to the students on the LSU campus every Thursday evening.

Ladies Bible Study: Pastor Fred Malone's ministry of the Word to the ladies of First Baptist Church every two weeks on Thursday.

Young Adults Night: About once each month on Saturday night, pastor Tom Hicks invites the young adults to his home for a group discussion of the Scriptures and fellowship together.

Dorcas Door Ministry: A small house across the street from church which sells used clothing and other helpful items to the community.
